It’s a known fact that actor Riteish Deshmukh, apart from being a funny man on screen is also an architecture. So, it didn’t come as a surprise when Riteish showed off his architectural skills while shooting for his upcoming film.
Riteish was shooting for Kya Super Kool Hain Hum, the sequel to 2005 comic caper Kya Kool Hain Hum — the sex comedy that saw him star along with actor Tusshar Kapoor. An insider informs us that Riteish ended up designing one of the sets of the film because he didn’t like the initial design. “Riteish has a degree in architecture. So he knows the nitty-gritty of the field. And after seeing the original set, he wanted to create another one with his own inputs,” says the insider.
Another source close to Riteish says, “The set was supposed to be a bachelor pad and as soon as Riteish saw it, he just wanted to contribute to its construction. Given his architectural background, he has a lot of creative inputs that he felt would spruce up the sets. So he spoke with the art director and designed the whole set! And everyone was surprised by the result. He did a great job and the set definitley looked like it was done up by a professional to the core.”
The source adds that Riteish is in a happy space post his marriage to actor Genelia.
“Riteish has his plate full. He has to balance a married life with his acting career and find ways to keep his love for architecture alive. It’s a busy schedule but he’s loving it,” says the source.
