We broke the news that Aamir Khan has decided to postpone the release of his next film "Talaash". Later, one of the producers of the film, Ritesh Sidhwani, announced that "Talaash" will release on November 30.
Today too, as is tradition with Aamir Khan on his birthday, the actor met the media and explained why Talaash’s release has been postponed. “I’m really sorry to my fans that they have to wait for my films. But it is not that we are teasing them. I know we were initially supposed to release in January, then June and now November. The actual release date of the film is still not confirmed. It is either November 30 or December 7. The reason we delayed the film was that the set of my TV show got burnt down and its direct impact fell on Talaash.”
He added, “Both my TV show and "Talaash" are very close to me and it was not possible for me to work on both simultaneously. I spoke to director Reema Kagti and my co-producers Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani about the same and they agreed to push the film. With the time on hand, we will come up with something better only for the audience. In the meantime, the audience will get to see me in my TV show.”
