Punjab’s a good omen for Akshay Kumar

For his next film, " Special Chabbis" Akshay Kumar chose to shoot in Delhi and Punjab, and this isn't without reason.

While Delhi is special for the actor, because this is where he spent his days of struggle, it's the villages of Punjab where he shot films like " Singh is Kinng" and "Namaste London".

Says a source, "Akshay is always keen to shoot in Punjab as he considers it a good omen. All his movies which were shot in rural Punjab were hits."

After shooting in Chandni Chowk in Delhi, the "Special Chabbis" team headed to Chandigarh last Monday for shooting. A source from the unit said, "On the last day, the unit will head to Ludhiana where some shots are to be taken at the airport. Also, "SC" is not the only movie showing Akki's Punjab connection, as his next, "Khiladi 786-Made In Punjab", will also be shot in Punjab." Akshay recently completed his film "Joker" in Punjab, which will release by mid-2012.
